Nutella French Toast Recipe
I got a few requests on how to make this Nutella French Toast so here is a recipe that is quick and easy!
You will need:
- Bread
- eggs (4)
- nutella
- whipped cream
- PAM
Tools:
- Fry-pan
- spatula
Directions:
1. Crack your eggs into a large & shallow bowl and mix with a fork.
2. Put a slice of bread into the bowl so one side is covered. Flip it over so the other side is covered as well. You want your bead covered in egg. Repeat for all slices.
3. Put your pan on the stove on medium-high heat. Spray with PAM, and lay your bread onto the pan and let it cook for about 40 seconds or until you can flip it. Flip and let the other side cook until golden brown.
4. Once all your pieces of toast have been cooked, you are ready to add the Nutella. Put one piece on a plate and spread your desired amount of Nutella on the toast. Put another piece of toast on top of it and spread Nutella on that as well. Keep stacking the toast and putting Nutella in between the layers until you are satisfied with the amount.
5. Spray a heaping amount of whipped cream onto the toast and voila!
Bon Appetit

Fine Grub
On Saturday, we went out for brunch at a place called Jethrows Fine Grub. Small place, clean and simple, yet there were people waiting for an hour to get in. No wonder, the food is absolutely amazing! Stuff like banana nut pancakes topped with whipped creme or what I had (above), nutella french toast. The portion sizes are huge, you can take your food home and have two or three more meals from it. The best part is, everything is around 10 bucks.
While we waited (yes we had to as well), we went to a place called upscale garage sale next door. Quaint little place and very cool to walk through. They had lots of vintage looking items, i will be sure to go back soon.

Hello Tiffany
My two lovely aunts got me these Tiffany Keys for my 16th Birthday. It was such a lovely surprise and I really wanted them but never dreamed of actually getting them. I really love the two they picked out or me, they are pretty and delicate when they rest at your neck. They really are quite dainty, and you can wear them all the time, as a staple item. There are much cheaper versions of key necklaces as well so don't worry about not finding one because you don't wanna shell out a wad of cash on a necklace. I recommend checking Forever 21, and Aldo Accesssories, two of my favourite places for jewelery.

Coral me happy
One of my favourite colours this season, Coral! It is such a bright and warm colour that adds such a pop to any outfit. I personally love pairing it with teal, they compliment each other quite well. this bracelet was given to me by my aunt (one of the people I blame for my obsession with fashion!). It can be worn in many ways, my favourite is with a loose white top and skinny jeans. This dresses it up and adds that punch of colour and gold without taking away from anything. Forever 21 and H&M are the places to go for an item like this.
Shatter
What everyone is talking about, OPI's Shatter Polish. A revolutionary nail polish that cracks when applied to give the effect of shattered glass. It is really quite amazing watching the nail polish shatter before your eyes. It is a really cool nail polish and it's almost like a collectors item for a die hard nail polish addict ( i am one!)
I recommend using bright or sparkly colours underneath black shatter so it shows through. I know red shatter is out right now, although it is even harder to get than this. Just waiting for more colours to come out!

Beach Girl
Summer is just around the corner and I cannot wait to enjoy the sun ! I have put together a collection of bathing suits and accessories that are stylish and funky, and will make YOU stand out at the beach. Just because you are wearing a bathing suit, that does not mean that you can't add some glam with a ring or bangles. Adding some accessories will individualize your bathing suit. You can do this by adding a teal ring for a pop of colour, some gold earring to pick up any gold accents in your bathing suit, or through chunky bangles! There are honestly so many options to choose from, so pick your favourite combos and get on that beach girl!

The Perfect Combo
I am looking forward to using these two shades together, I think the combo will be so pretty and feminine. Something soft and shimmery, in a shade that will compliment all skin tones. I really like this Sephora colour, Taupaz. It is such a unique colour and one that i am very fond of. And sparkles? Yes, I am a fan.

Current Wants
My need to shop has been growing and growing and soon i am going to go crazy ! There are so many things i want for the summer, here is just a portion. I notice that i am really loving the softer, muted tones, like lights pinks, baby blues, camel, creme, taupe, olive green, ect. And gold accents! I dont know why but i tend to wear gold way more often than silver in the summer, probably because it is warmer. I am also really drawn to stripes, as well . It is a huge trend right now and you will see stripes if you walk into stores like Forever 21, H&m, aritzia, and so on. These items are just so pretty, and dainty, and make a girl look so feminine. My goal is to go out and track down something similar to everything on here, and for a portion of the cost. Wish me luck!
Go to my polyvore to see where each item came from and cost.

Killer Heels
Today i went to the mall to find a dress for my sisters grade seven grad. We went to forever 21 and they had a bunch of pretty spring clothing in. Unfortunately we weren't shopping for me..i put a lot of stuff back. The shoes were from Le Chateau, and they are killer ! I cant get enough of exposed zippers and i think they look amazing on heels. I will be coming back for these.
Minty fresh
Right now, i am really into light and fun shades for summer. I love this mint green colour because it is just something so different and fresh! You could wear it alone on your nails or add a layer of sparkle to it too, which is what i did. I do advise that you use a base coat of white if you are painting your nails with a light colour, it will show up better.

Bonjour
Hello new followers ! I just wanted to welcome and thank you all for joining my blog. It means a lot to me that you care about what i have to say! So this is me on a typical school day, i do dress up. I think everyday should be a special occasion, we shouldn't wait for an excuse to dress up and look our best. I hope I inspire you in any way possible, and if that means that you will spend a couple extra minutes picking your outfit, that's fine with me !

The Handy Bag
This little pouch is filled with things that help me get through the day without worrying about what i look like. It is so easy to touch up your lip gloss (if I'm wearing it) or sanitize your hands with out digging through your bag to find everything. I bought the Hello Kitty makeup pouch from MAC when they released the Hello Kitty line, unfortunately it isn't available anymore. I really want them to bring it back ! The 3 Bobbi Brown lip glosses come in a pack together, in great colours. They look small but they don't run out fast at all, you only need a little bit of lip gloss and your good to go. Another thing i use ( probably too) frequently, is a hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works. It has little Cleansing beads in it and you see them dissolve which is really cool. This one also smells like vanilla which is a bonus, I advise making a little kit like this that you just throw into your bag so you can grab your fix-up items without digging around.

Cake Pops!
I finally had the opportunity to make Cake Pops, so I tested it out with my sister. I wasnt so sure how they would actually turn out but they actually exceeded my expectations ! They look so cute and taste AMAZING. No joke. Such a cute party dish, you take these somewhere and people will be complimenting you on your baking talents left, right, and center ! Heres the recipe;
Ingredients
- box of Betty Crocker Cake mix (or desired brand of cake mix)
- 3 cans of cream cheese frosting
- eggs/oil according to instructions on cake mix
- large baking sheet
- sprinkles
- piece of Styrofoam ( you need to be able to stick the popsicle sticks in it)
- popsicle sticks
Directions
- Follow the instructions on the back of your cake mix and bake your cake as you normal would.
- Once cake is done, let it cool completely
- Now, Crumble your cake into a large cooking bowl. There should be no large chunks. Aim for breadcrumb-like texture
- Add in one can of frosting directly into your bowl of cake crumbs. Mix thoroughly until consistently blended.
- Take a bit of cake mixture and shape it into a small ball with your hands. Do this with the rest of the cake mix, it should be consistent.
- Refrigerate overnight or put them in the freezer for a couple of hours ( covered in saran wrap).
- Melt your remaining icing and add food colouring if you want it.
- Stick Popsicle sticks into your cake balls and dip them into your melted icing. let remaining icing drip off. ( I advise that you hold them at an angle so the icing doesn't make the top look bumpy)
- Add your sprinkles
- stick the cake pop into the Styrofoam to let it dry
- put them in the fridge overnight to store
And voila! It sounds like a lot but honestly it was a piece of cake.. get it? Yah, good sense of humor Amy..

A New Read
My parents read all of Dan Brown's novels and they are permanent fixtures on our coffee tables. I haven't had the opportunity to read them until now so i am very excited. There is a lot of buzz surrounding these books and I am interested in conspiracy theories. This book has to do with the Illuminati, which i have heard a lot about but don't know what to believe. After reading this book, I will let you guys know where I stand on the topic !
Venezia
Last Summer, I went to Italy with my parents for a month. We visited Venice for two days, which in my opinion is not enough for this beautiful city, but we made the most of it. As we walked through the narrow streets to get to the main square, we passed so much beauty. None of it was the made up touristy stuff, but the real rustic beauty of the locals homes. I simply cant get enough of the shutters and flowers on the window sill. Venice is also known for their handcrafted masks, and everywhere you go, you will find them. They come in a range of prices, each is relevant to the quality and beauty of the mask. I picked up my own mask there for 10 euros. It is quite lovely for the price and compared to other masks targeted for tourists. If you go to Venice and are looking for a mask, I advise that you look around first, not buy the first one you see. You might stumble across something even more beautiful, which is likely in a city like this!

One of my happy words, Gucci
I cannot wait until my mom passes this bad boy down to me. She recently got a Michael Kors bag and will be carrying that for a while. I'm hoping she will let me borrow this ! It is such a beautiful bag and I like that it is embossed instead of printed. It looks much more classy in my opinion. his kind of bag will never go out of style, it is worth investing in.
Shimmer
I have a darker skin tone so I personally really like wearing warm metallic eye shadows. They really brighten up your complexion and you look like your glowing. I use the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact and MAC's Lustre eye shadow in CASINO. For spring, rose gold and other warmer eye shadows are worth investing in. I will definitely be picking up a few more !

The Ring Lady
So I have mentioned I am in love with jewelery. I mean, if I walk into Forever 21 or Also Accessories, I'm in trouble. Here are just a few of my statement rings that i love to wear. They can totally complete an outfit, and add a little bit of edge to it too. Every time i wear one of these, i get a compliment. Sometimes people think that they cant pull off statement accessories but i disagree. You just have to have the confidence to rock it.
