An ocean in my eyes

  

My vision is blurred. I pull out the vacuum so I have something to do, I hope nobody notices. The floor has little fluffs of dust and sand all over it. The lines of the tiles start to blur, and the dust bunnies disappear into the ocean that has formed in my eyes. I wait to see a fish float by.

 The moment we have all been waiting for, the preview of Karl Lagerfeld's Collection for Macy's. His designs feature flirty dresses, structured tweed coats, and tanks + tees with Lagerfelds image. The prices are reasonable and within a fashionistas everyday budget. The collection launches on August 31, so mark that down on your calendars because it's going to sell out fast! I myself can't wait and am counting down the days. A lot of designer collaborations just don't have the quality and and style of the designers brand because they are trying to make it more affordable. To me, this collection looks like it doesn't sacrifice much. I will definitely be making a trip across the border for this!

I smell the colours around me

   Would you believe that each colour has a smell? I never thought of it that way before my most recent trip to Mexico. What you see above are warm shots of Playa del Carmen, and cool shots of a white sand beach. When I look at the vibrant and colourful photos, I smell spices, and earthy flavours and feel the heat of the sun on my face. When i look at the soft blues and whites of the beach, i smell salt, crisp cool air, and feel the mist of the waves tickling my skin. Now I think of every colour evoking a certain smell. Think of the rainbow, what does each colour smell like to you?

I usually dont post about other bloggers on here, its just something I haven't done. But a very talented blogger caught my eye. Ever since, I have been hooked. She has separated herself from other bloggers because her blog is like a never ending book with pictures. A book that you cant stop thinking about. Her writing is mysterious, intriguing. Her photos, breathtaking. She personifies darkness and light with her words. Words that keep you visiting her blog for more. She is genius. She has inspired me to add more depth to my posts. Time is flying by! I have already started to pack for my vacation to Mexico which is only 11 days away! And Guess what? I have FINALLY decided on a name for my online magazine. I'm going to keep it a surprise for you, I enjoy creating suspense. None the less, things are really starting to roll with it, and we are aiming for it to be out my mid September. Very excited!

A Midsummer Nights Dream

Cool news, I have been granted access to ZARA`s  exclusive online media showroom, so I can Preview collections and tell you guys about them. Pretty cool for someone like me who shops at ZARA all the time! Anyways, I thought I would share one of my favourites from the Summer 2011 catalogue.  I love the shimmer fabric of the loose top and the soft colour palette. This outfit says "I look amazing and I didn't even try"

Life is speeding up at a rate that I can barely keep up with it! I haven't posted in a while but i take my camera everywhere so I decided to do a massive post that covers what I've been up to the past little while. Among the things above, I have been spending a lot of time on my online magazine. It will be up in the middle of August and I can't wait! Still have not finalized the name though.. I should do that soon eh?
